My name is Mathew, i am a mid 30’s Husband and father of 1 (soon to be 2).
My profession is in the Transport industry but my passion is in the IT field, be it setting up new hardware or messing around with various VM’s. My current project is as you can see setting up my own self hosted website/ blog for a place to spread my joy.
Other projects i am working on are;
Streamlining my home network (its a mess ATM) also to include load-balancing and redundancy/ fail-over
Self-Hosted file storage solution for friends and family (FTP & Hybrid-Cloud)
E-mail server
and various other things to tinker with like, linux & windows VM’s also maybe some VPS systems.
I am also planning in the near future to complete some IT certification such as. A+, Network+ and Linux+. if those go well and i enjoy them i may also get my CCNA and my Azure and AWS certifications.
In addition to the above, I also spend a bit of time enjoying the world of Video Games on PC and recording some of my adventures i have. I will post some of them in the YouTube Clips section when i get them up.
